Nurturing the Spark We Were All Born With

Nshwaasnangong is a joyful place to honour and express our diverse identities as Indigenous peoples.

Learn more about Nshwaasnangong:

All Are Welcome in Our Place of the 8th Star

Led by the Southwest Ontario Aboriginal Health Access Centre, licensed and supported by the Ministry of Education, and created with the Journey Together Committee, Nshwaasnangong is a place where our young ones, and future generations, thrive.

Here, we rekindle our languages, honour the teachings of our ancestors, and live in balance with Mother Earth. In this way, we learn to walk with humility and respect for all of creation.

Come see us at 449 Hill Street, in London’s SoHo neighbourhood.

Child Care

In everything we do at Nshwaasnangong, we work to nurture the spark we were all born with. This is the priority in our licensed child care, which offers space for up to 88 children ages 0-6. With a focus on connections to language and traditional teachings throughout our curriculum, we work together to revitalize our culture in the early years and beyond.

Registration for child care spaces is now open!

We are currently accepting families for our child care waitlist, with spaces available now and for future registration. You may be contacted by our team for more information about your family’s needs.

Please note that child care subsidies are available through the City of London to support you and your family in attending the centre.

Family Centre

At Nshwaasnangong, we know that it takes a large circle to raise and support our little people and youth. With kindness and compassion, we welcome kin into a space where we can lift each other up. We work to remember and practice ways of living a good life, together.

Wherever you are on your journey - we see you, we hear you, we believe in you, and we invite you to join the Nshwaasnangong family. Please join us for our child, youth and family culturally relevant EarlyON programming.
