Welcoming Our Little Stars

We offer space for up to 88 children ages 0-6. With a focus on connections to language and traditional teachings throughout our curriculum, we will work together to revitalize our culture in the early years and beyond.

Our Values and Teachings

Play Is Essential For Development

Play is essential to childhood development because it supports mental, physical, social and emotional wellbeing. Children are more open to learning when it involves play; they’re naturally curious and want to explore, and play invites them to do this in a safe way while they learn.

Educator Support

Our staff at Nshwaasnangong will support our little ones by observing, listening and asking questions to support children in their play-based learning. We view all children as competent, curious, and rich in potential, and we honour this in each and every child. We will strive to include each child’s culture, language and social backgrounds as part of their learning.

Learning Environment

At Nshwaasnangong, we’ll be learning inside and outside in safe, welcoming spaces that promote belonging for all. Our new space has been designed to bring natural elements in, and to facilitate easy access to the outdoors. This facilitates land-based learning, where our little stars can learn about the land and our connection to it - what the land can teach us and how it connects us to every living thing.
